restoran asam pedas@taiping

kalau pegi taiping, jangan lupa lunch nasi campur kat sini tau...emmmm, best.....specialty asam pedas and jus kedondong with asam boi....alahai....terliur lak......

apa yang saya makan disini...ayam goreng, gulai ikan masak asam pedas, gulai lemak pucuk paku, ikan goreng , ikan bakar, ketam masak lemak, ulam-ulaman, sambal belacan, air asam, cicah kicap, 4 nasi, 3 jus kedondong, 1 milo, i teh o ais, semuanya rm38....emmm...boleh tahan....

lake garden@taiping

after zoo, the next destination lake garden....

the lake garden is huge, with only a few places for fnb...meaning that if u want to come here, make sure that u bring your picnic items yourself, or else maybe u can get some ice-cream, junk foods and can drinks from the hawker...they ride on a motorcycle....basically, from 3pm onwards u can see the people start unpacking their picnic items, sitting and enjoying the scenery there....

since the lake garden is huge, so there are many spots for you to choose...some likes sitting beside the lake, near the japanese garden, or even near to the small river, fishing...

what else that u can do there?? have a ride on a boat, and other activities...such as playgroud for the kids, feeding the fish, jogging, brisk walk...or just laying down on the mat, with your sunglasses on, and take a nap...huhuhu...best....

trip to taiping, around 1 hour drive from penang...first stop- zoo taiping....my kids never been to a zoo before, memandangkan dah besar sikit dan sudah boleh mengenal binatang yang terdapat didalam zoo, jadi destinasi ini dirasakan amat bersesuaian dengan mereka...lagipun dilihat, zoo taiping agak kecil berbanding zoo negara...jadi kuranglah aktiviti berjalan mengelilingi zoo...hahaha, kalau besar puas la mendukung si kenit nih...si kenit ni bukannya boleh lama duduk dalam stroller tuh....huhuhu....

as early as 10 am, we reached there...the zoo is located near the lake garden...since ita still early, there were only few of visitors in the zoo...its been a long time since my last visit to a zoo, zoo negara-1995...more than 10 years, nearly 15 years....

we spend around 3 hours there...2 round on the train, the kids love the ride so much, anyway its free, the driver will act like a tour huide, explaining to you all the animals and to which group they belong too.......we love the ride, apatah lagi mummy and daddy...penat tau kalo jalan....huhuhuh......

MY WORDS FOR THE HEART

"Tak bermakna bila kita pandang belakang kita takkan maju.

MIAMI BEACH, PENANG, MALAYSIA

Have u ever been to miami beach? Not miami beach in USA, this is made in  MALAYSIA...hehehe
I would like to share with you what MIAMI BEACH PENANG looks like..it is a small public beach situated in BATU FERINNGHI area..nice and cosy, and the best part, it is near to the beach...what i m trying to say, you can open your picnic basket and mat and watch your kids from there, under the shades without even have to walk down to the sea....cool....
Like other beaches, there were some activities in the beach, swimming, gathering, people selling food and beverage and other stuffs...it is not as happening as feringhi beach, with all the sea activities happening at the sea side...but still ok for small picnic...

"as for the boys...apa lagik tido la....hehehehe "

"the girls enjoying their stuff, forgot to bring theirsand castle stuff", so they were using whatever they can find along the beach.....

HATYAI TRIP 1

HATYAI TRIP

What you can do in Hatyai….

Hatyai is a small town in Thailand, which is famous for all kind of things- starting from massage, dried items, foods, all the bars and girls and don’t forget- the fake items…

This is the picture of the new hatyai town, basically hatyai is been divided into two parts- old and new town of hatyai…you can find all the new shopping complexes in the new hatyai and for the night entertainment, both part of hatyai will provide you the entertainment that you need…some of the friends said that the alcoholic drinks here is much more cheaper than in Singapore...didnt investigate that but it might be true….as for the money exchange, RM1 is equivalent with 10 bath..not bad…

"photo of new town in the evening"

I found that there Is not much activities that can be done at Hatyai, but there is still something....you can massage and pampered urself at minimum rate….some of the friend get RM50 package for whole body massage, scrubbing and manicure and pedicure….emmm not bad….quite cheap, as for foot massage, they usually charge you from around RM15 to Rm 25….
What i love the most is their night market...its huge, there s even a small funfair n playground at the night market.....cool...you can find all things here, something from food, lingerie, shoes, jeans, bundles n lots of other stuffs...emm, another thing, make sure that if u like something, u buy it on the spoy,,,,bargain and buy because it will be hard for you to find the way to the same shop again, as i mentioned earlier, its huge man!!!!compared to malaysian night market....

here you can find the miniture of all the small cartoon's characture, ben10, all the aliens, the japanese character, which i dont even know the names....but with reasonable price...some of it you can get for RM25 for 5, and even lower than that...
what else that you can get here...emmmm, guess..guess...guesss.....never seen this before in malaysia...or i guess it is not as exposed as in Thailand... emmmm, sabar...sabar.....ni upload gambar yang kecik-kecik ni dulu........

"the cute little things"

this is the thing that i mentioned earlier.....hehehe....ever seen this in the night market??? this is not a bra, put it is for u butt, to make it looks sexier...hahahaha...we have push-up bra....and now hello to push up underwear.....no wonder all the butt here are nice....now i know why, they have extra support for that........just for info okay......dont take it serious.....this is what we call "extra knowledge".

last but not least, i would like you to see how the man paint a shoe...from a plain canvas shoe, they transfered it into unique shoes that you can choose the design from a catalogue...they are so creative...my hubby also seen one of these at Langkawi...thy eprice 250bath =RM25.90....ahhh, cheap for the art like this....till next slot, will talk more on the cuisine.....have a nice day...

TARIAN ULEK MAYANG

According to http://www.tourism.terengganu.gov.my/cultural/ulekmayang.htm,

The ulek mayang is a pre-Islamic religious trance dance accompanied by singing and music in Terengganu, originating from an unknown nearby island in which the Malay orchestra, comprising drums, gong, violin and accordian is used (Shafiee Ahmad 1992). Tarian Ulek Mayang is another worshiping dance in the Malay dances. The dancing always begins with a person who is suffering from illness either when he catches fish, in the paddy field or any other daily activities in the society. The patient will then healed by a bomoh, a traditional Malay doctor in the traditional way. Seven actors beautifully dressed represent the 7 princesses who come to visit the patient when the bomoh is treating him. Kemayan will be burnt together with chanting of pantun and dancing through the whole performance. Sometimes the rebab and seruling are also used to accompany the singing which is in the form of rhymes and poems. Although Tarian Ulek Mayang was once a folk ritual ceremonial in the Malay society, with its gentle and graceful movement, it has become one of the beautiful traditional dancing in Terengganu culture.

Petikan dari majalah solusi isu no. 2.
